- lifeboats could only hold 1,178 people
- 2:20 am Titanic broke up and sank bow-first with over a thousand people still on board
- Hypothermia killed the people that were in the water within minutes
- A Canadian Mint produced $10 silver commemorative coin for the 100th anniversary
- There are a lot of museums for the Titanic. There's one in Pigeon Forge Tennessee (been there) that has an iceberg and you can feel the coldness the water would've been
- The Movie Titanic was the first movie to hit the billion dollar mark
- The Titanic wasn't found over 12,000 feet below the surface until September 1st, 1985
- Out of the 1,514 people that died only 333 bodies were ever found.
