First Draft of Sociology Paper On Deviance

Dear Sir or Madam:

This laptop is going to die. I hate when people don’t plug in laptops properly, or for long enough BECAUSE NOW ITS GONNA DIE. This is highly upsetting to me, because I am writing a wonderful paper, I mean obviously this is mean writing a wonderful paper. I am definitely describing who I think that these students are. I don’t know if I want to be the janitor or the principal. If I’m the janitor I’m sure that he knows more about the students than the principal does. I mean, the janitor can just go chill in the files room whenever he wants (even though it is confidential). It isn’t like anyone is going to walk in on him. The principal on the other hand, has other tasks to accomplish, like babysitting the students. He shouldn’t be in the basement at all. He’s an awful babysitter, I mean seriously detention was not well watched over. It’s entirely his fault ya know.
Okay, so John Bender is the criminal. He will never be good for anything. In fact, he’s going to become just like his father someday. I don’t even know why he bothers to show up for school anymore when he does nothing but harass everyone around him. He is a disturbance to the school environment and makes it very hard for other students to learn. John is this way because we label him. If we did not label him as worthless and a loser and a no good son of a ---- he might have turned out okay. Of course, it is not the school’s fault that he is this way. His father was the one that started with the whole labeling of him. Once he was called worthless over and over it was just a self-fulfilling prophecy waiting to happen. So it is not the school’s fault he is the way he is today. We tried to encourage him at first, and make him see our ways I SWEAR TO GOD WE DID. But now he’s just a no good loser. Maybe someday he will get a job like mine, sweeping the hall ways after students make such a big mess. Probably not though, he is a loser after all.
Oh my goodness there is only 18% left of the battery….That is 32 minutes, but I don’t trust the laptop with the timing ya know, because IT IS GOING TO DIE IN THE NEXT FEW MINUTES. I refuse to get a new laptop if it dies….there is over 10 minutes left of class though, so I will be screwed for life when it dies. I won’t have anything to do :c It will be VERY upsetting I swear it will be. Not that I really care…I mean it does not really matter if I lose this whole paper right? I just am going to rewrite it later. I also have now turned on the power saver mode….hopefully that makes the laptop last longer. This thing annoys the hell outta me though. People should be destroyed for letting the laptop’s battery get so low! DESTROYED.
I’ve decided that I am writing a paper in the perspective of the janitor, he was way cooler than the principal ya know. Though he does not get shown very often in the movie. It must have been a pretty simple casting movie. I mean there are only 7 people in the entire movie that matter. Sure they had to get people for the parents and stuff, but those people had very minor roles and did not really matter. Anywho, I am getting highly bored of writing this. Also I think it is ridiculous that they had to write an essay about who they think that they are. It really does not seem that entertaining. What if I wrote a different letter for each person!?
John Bender is a criminal because people have labeled him that his whole life. His father tells him he is worthless and no good as well as everyone else around him. So he acts exactly the way that people tell him he is. He has a self-fulfilling prophecy.
Claire Standish is a deviant because she skipped school to go shopping. This makes it obvious that she is a cultural transmission theory example. It is further proven because she copied the behavior of those around her during the detention.
Alison Reynolds had nothing to do on Saturday, so she decided to just show up at Saturday detention. She is an example of the conflict perspective because the Ruling Class has been putting her down. She does not fit in anywhere because no one wants her. She is the lowest of the low. Alison Reynolds breaks all sort of social norms. She uses her dandruff, which is just gross, to make snow on a really good picture that she drew. She was eating her fingernails, which was really loud and gross. It sounded like how my dog tends to start chewing on his toenails. Just disgusting ya know. He also was refusing to talk. I enjoyed that she made a cereal sandwich for lunch, who wouldn’t want a cereal sandwich for lunch? I mean come on, CEREAL. She is a compulsive liar AND she seems to be a kleptomaniac. She just keeps grabbing stuff that she surely does not need, like she stole Bender’s lock from his locker. It is his fault for not locking it though.
Brian Johnson was going to kill himself with a flare gun and it went off in his locker during the school day. This caused him to be placed in the Saturday detention. He has the control theory going on for him. He just conforms to everything around him and is just like “hey-o let’s blow this popsicle joint” So he just goes along with Bender and the rest of the gang when they decide to leave detention.
SPEAKING OF DETENTION, why the hell is it called the breakfast club? They don’t even eat breakfast during the movie! This is a really sore spot on me ya know <.< I HATE IT.
Andrew Clark taped a nerd’s buttocks cheeks together as a way to please his father.  He in the Strain theory because he is trying to please his father with everything that he does and he does not wish to be a disappointment.

Yours Truly,
Carl the Janitor or Principal Vernon.
